A reproduction of the so-called Pisa gown from Italy around 1562.
Due to the price and availability of the broad laces I adjusted it a bit in design. The sleeves turned out to short but in my view that doesn't look very bad. Also, the trail is not that long like the original, but I cannot use it where I want to wear it - too much blind feet, too dirty grounds, too annoying.
Due to the cold temperatures I wear my English Renaissance corset beneath which broadens my waistline a bit. The dress itself fits a lot tighter without the corset.
The hat is an old fake fur hat inherited by my grandma, the brooch and feathers are selfmade; as are the dying and stitching of the gloves and the chemise.
Oh, this is just gorgeous. Brava.
That's an absolutely gorgeous gown; it suits you very well, too.
Absolutely love this! One of the most gorgeous dresses I've ever seen!
Pretty as always
